Sorry to hear that, if downloads are working, you might want to check out if something is happening on the itch.io website or on your computer. Unfortunately I can’t control download issues outside of making sure the files are there (which they are, multiple people have downloaded them).
The Game is very interesting and is looking good so far and the best thing by far is the animations and the movement is also very fun , but I also have some points and I hope they help, and I know I am late so I don't know if these were changed already
So
1- the Animations are good
but the attack animation needs more animations like :
as swinging from up to down which could be used as a heavy maybe by holding down.
And maybe the attack could be when you click the first time it is swings right then when you click a second time it sings left to make it a little smother as the attack feels a little awkward at times.
2- The sound effect for the attack needs more work doesn't sound right.
3- The Game Needs More Story
A problem I Encountered :
when playing I completed the blast training by accident when I shot a blast it changed it changed it's direction suddenly and homed on the target before even talking to the trainer .
Giving Feedback here because at the final screen for whatever reasons I had no mouse cursor:
That was a nice start of a game, I think you have a good tutorial +1st Dungeon here. Playing with keyboard was totally OK *AFTER* I got a look at the respective keys here. Those descriptions need to go into the game proper, preferrable reconfigurable (shouldn't be a problem with Unity).
Little problems:
- Blast training: That target orb never vanishes, so I blasted it 15 times I think the first time. Then I talked to the guy there who said it was OK now. There should be a clear visible reaction to each blast hit. If you want one hit to count as finishing that test (as it seems), make the orb explode or something similar.
- Enemies stuck at corners: In the dungeon, when the direct way from the enemies to me would lead through the walls, they were stuck at corners. Happend both to the "bats" as well as that humanoid boss monster of the dungeon.
- Insta-Block vs. bat: By accident I created an Insta-Block in the dungeon. Later, when I was trying to lure bats into shock traps, a bat got stuck on that Insta-Block (see above). After some time, the cubic shape of the Insta-Block was gone and only a small sphere remained on the ground. I went to the ship to restock, then when I came back I could actually take the 'sphere' Insta-Block and had 6 in my inventory, which seems like a bug.
- Enemy damage status: It's probably not important for the bats, but for bigger enemies likes the humanoid boss monster it might be important to understand if lightning blasts or shock traps do any damage at all or if the monster is immune to it.
I had a play of the Articier's Journey and I have to say, for an alpha, it's prettty good. I liked the layout of the land, the look and style of gameplay is great and the puzzle's are just right. The overall control of the character is pretty good and the interactions with the NPC's is good. I played it more than once btw as I enjoyed it.
The Artificer's Journey gameplay seemed to fit just right with the lazy Saturday feeling mood im in.

Thank you for the feedback!
That was a fun play, I enjoyed it. It has a long way to go, for sure, but it has a great foundation!
